The OnLive streaming video game platform that has captured the attention of so many has finally been given a release date. OnLive Game Service will officially launch for PC and Mac June 17, 2010 during a little show that you may have heard of known as the E3 Expo.

Many remember the launch of 38 Studios, if not for any other reason then for the man who birthed it, World Series MVP and gamer Curt Schilling. Today marks a significant achievement for the studio, in the announcement of a partnership with Electronic Arts, who will be publishing the studio's RPG offering "Project Mercury."

The first glimpse of the HP Slate was at this years CES, where it was teased for a few brief moments. Since then information on the device has been scarce, however, some of the first videos for the iPad competitor have surfaced in the form of a demo and an ad.

Today 2K Sports announced that Ryan Kesler, forward (or center according to ESPN) for the Vancouver Canucks and Olympic athlete, will be the cover athlete for NHL 2K11. Kesler was chosen for his inspiring performance on the US hockey team for the 2010 Olympics.
