Video Game industry to start developing games for Natal

Microsoft's Project Natal made quite a splash at E3 this year. Since then it has captured the attention of the video game industry and just about every gamer on the planet. Today Microsoft has announced a list of publishers that plan to start developing games for Project Natal, and there are a lot of them!

Here is the list of publishers:

  • Activision/Blizzard
  • Bethesda Softworks
  • CAPCOM
  • Disney Interactive
  • Electronic Arts
  • Konami
  • MTV Games
  • Namco Bandai
  • Sega
  • Square Enix
  • THQ Inc.
  • Ubisoft.

Microsoft stated that the aforementoned publishers account for 70 percent of third-party software sales for current consoles. Don Mattrick, senior vice president for the Interactive Entertainment Business at Microsoft Corp. stated "'Project Natal' gives the industry's creators and storytellers the freedom to dream of new experiences and to tell stories never before possible"

Microsoft also stated that details on these publisher Project Natal initiatives will be released at a later date.
