Although the Capcom line-up for 2010 is rather impressive, a number of the titles comprising it were pushed back recently and given rather ambiguous release windows. Thankfully one of the major titles fans have been looking forward to is officially being released this year, and it involves chainsaws.

Capcom announced the release window for Dead Rising 2 today, and we are happy to inform you that it will be launched sometime in 2010. It's not an exact release date but it is far better than the time frame Capcom had given us before, which projected the game release anywhere between late 2010 to early 2011.

Even though a few of the other titles in Capcom's line-up are still in a pretty wide release window, at least we know that that Dead Rising 2 will be arriving this year.
