The much anticipated and heavily speculated PlayStation wand that made its first appearance at E3 last year has finally been given a name. At the GDC Sony press conference, Sony's answer to the Project Natal, the PlayStation Move was unveiled. The PlayStation Move is a motion control wand that will work by using a camera to track an illuminated sphere on the device. The wand will also include a nunchuk-like attachment that features a D-pad and analog stick. Sony plans to launch the device in the fall of this year in a package that could be less than $100. It will include the Move, the PlayStation Eye Camera, and a game. Sony also announced a few of the game titles set to launch with the Move, which include Sports Champions and Move Party for the more casual gamer, and DUKES for the more serious ones.
