Harmonix and MTV Games have announced that Green Day: Rock Band will officially be launching June 8, 2010. The stand alone game will feature 47 tracks that can be exported to Rock Band, Rock Band 2, and the recently unveiled Rock Band 3.

The game will feature fan favorites "Brain Stew," "Jaded," "Hitchin' a Ride," "American Idiot," "Wake Me Up When September Ends" and "Boulevard of Broken Dreams." The six Green Day tracks already available in the Rock Band Music Store will also be available to Green Day: Rock Band, and will feature added vocal harmonies once imported.

The game will include a number of features for the dedicated Green Day fan. One of them a media vault, where they can unlock more than 100 collectible images, and 40 minutes of rare and unreleased video.

Green Day: Rock Band will be available for Xbox360 and PS3 for $59.99, and the Wii for $49.99 on launch.
