As the year draws to a close, we wanted to take some time to give praise to the game we feel is the Best of 2009, and a node to the games that followed after. The decision was a tough one but we feel our choice is solid. In a year that brought us new records, new achievements, and hours of fun, we feel one game stands above the rest. Here is our pick for The Best Game of 2009.



Whether you disagree or not you have to admit, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves delivered an unprecedented experience for gaming. Although it doesn't hold every single achievement this year, overall it has been a better game. A great story, exceptional graphics, good multiplayer, and a superb story all combined to create one of the best games this year.

All and all Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is not only (IMO) the best game of the year but one of the best games in history. No game has ever drawn us in quite as much as this one has. It is through the characters, the superb story telling, flawless game play, and an overall feeling of realism that this was achieved.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves deserves all the praise it can be given, and the folks at Naughty Dog have truly created one of the best games in history.

I agree, although I didn't personally get much game play (thanks ian) I did watch nearly the entire game and it was amazing! Uncharted 2 is like Indiana Jones (part 1-3!) meets Tomb Raider games.
