At the Nintendo summit yesterday, one of the many games that Nintendo showed off was Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver. The latest edition in the long and prestigious line of Pokemon games, HeartGold & SoulSilver is set for a March 14 release date and will go for $39.99.

In the new Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver fans will be returning to the Johto region first introduced in Pokemon Gold and Silver. You will have the option of playing as either male or female as in previous games.

One of the new features of Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver is that you can choose any Pokemon you like to follow you from town to town. You will also be able to connect with friends playing the game to trade or battle your Pokemon via the Nintendo WiFi Connection service. The games will also feature an Internal clock that keeps track of in game events.

Pokewalker


The Pokewalker is a new accessory that is being introduced for the first time with any Pokemon game. It will basically allow players to take a Pokemon character out of their DS and into the device and then walk with said Pokemon through virtual paths.

The accessory seems to be a type of health centered device as it motivates players to walk. The more you walk the more Watts (weird point system)you earn to catch Pokemon and or find hidden items. You can also connect the Pokewalker with other Pokewalkers wirelessly and earn special gifts.
