![]() New pitching and batting mechanics - The developers said that they took what fans had to say about the pitching and batting mechanics of 2K9 to heart, and MLB 2K10 reflects that. The games mechanics on the mound and home plate alike are vastly improved and more enjoyable. You will still be using the right analog stick to do your pitches and batting but this time the interactions between hitter and pitcher are much better. ![]() My Player mode - One of the new features to be added to the MLB 2K series, "My Player" mode will allow you to create your own player and build his career from start to finish. You will have a great range of options in developing your character in this mode, as you can choose which attributes you want to nurture and which you want to ignore. MLB Today - Another new feature to the game, MLB Today is great for keeping you up to speed on what is going on in the world of baseball, and is a rather unique addition to the franchise. What I hated ![]() Graphics - Although 2K10 is much more ascetically pleasing than 2K9, the parks are not as impressive as I had hoped. You will be playing in some of the most famous parks in the world, like Wrigley Field, Yankee Stadium, and many others. It would have been nice to see the stadiums a bit more polished, and as breathtaking as they are in real life. A bunch of little things - Although the game doesn't have any other major flaws, it does have bunch of little ones. There are some glitchy moments fielding the ball, for instance when fielding a ball characters will often throw to another base rather than turning a double-play. That combined with the less than refined AI director for my player mode can create some frustrating situations in the game. My 2 cents ![]() MLB 2K10 doesn't have any major flaws, however, it is plagued by a number of little ones. It is these shortcomings that keep the game from achieving an ideal baseball experience. That aside MLB 2K10 is an overall improved addition to the series that address many of the flaws of its predecessor. We give MLB 2K10, 3 out of 5 stars.
