With the holiday season approaching, that means the travel season is approaching as well. Although you are undoubtedly dreading the long flights and airport security, Google has unveiled something that will make your holiday travels a little easier.

Announced as "one of our holiday gifts to our users," Google will be offering free Wi-Fi to 47 airports across the country from now until January 15. Google will also be sponsoring free Wi-Fi to Virgin America passengers as well this holiday season.

Google stated that there will be signs to indicate the areas for free Wi-Fi access within the airports, so keep your eyes open. Here is a list of the participating airports.
