We have just closed our Batman Villain poll and I bet you are just itching to find out who won! We have the results and we are proud to say the winner of our poll is Martha Stewart, nah just joking, she was runner up! The real winner of our poll is The Riddler, but he barely beat Martha. She was a worthy opponent, but apparently no amount of arts and crafts, however tedious they may be, are enough to stop The Riddler. He won the poll with 31.4% of your votes.

Bio:
One of the most intelligent of Batman's foes, The Riddler possesses genius level reasoning skills. He first used these skills at a very young age, as he excelled in school. Sadly, his ambition of being a star pupil was crushed, by his abusive father who was jealous of his son's high intelligence. It is from his father's neglect of his profound mental abilities that The Riddler developed his obsession with riddles and puzzles. He craves attention and praise and he achieves it through his complex crimes.
How it could work:
We know that The Riddler is an intellectual criminal with genius level reasoning skills. We could see him written into Nolan's third Batman film as a politically driven villain. With the depressed state of the city, and the heavily tasked police force, The Riddler could easily infiltrate the highest levels of office within Gotham. Operating from within a vast network of agents, The Riddler will set his pawns in place for a Gotham revolution! Although The Riddler has never really been a politically motivated individual, Nolan likes to put his own spin on his characters. He could take The Riddler down any number of routes in Batman 3, but we think this is one of many scenarios that would work well for the character.

Although I do agree that the sinister nature of the character is there, I think she will ultimately be rejected by fans for not being part of the Batman cannon. Martha lost to The Riddler by a single solitary vote!
Harley Quinn with 17.1% of votes
I had thought originally that she would have won this poll as she was one of the early leaders. She was shortly pushed to 3rd place, however, by The Riddler and Martha. A pox upon your riddles, and home made crafts!
