Coming as a bit of a surprise, Sony has unveiled a new VAIO series, and it is just what the doctor ordered for the wintertime blues. The Sony VAIO E Series laptops are a new line form Sony that will start at $799.99 and is available for pre-order now.

You will be able to choose from 5 different colors for the VAIO E Series, as well as mix and match the colors for the lid and keyboard. Although I am sure you are overwhelmed by the options you have for colors, we thought you may be interested in the specs as well.

The VAIO E Series will have up to 8GB of ram, and will have a 500GB hard drive. The notebook will also feature an edge-to-edge keyboard, a 15.5-inch display, an optional Blue-ray disc drive, and built in web cam with face tracking technology.
