Today Nokia unveiled the C5 smartphone, a Symbian powered C series phone. Although the device has some nice features it is leaving many feeling underwhelmed. In a very competitive smartphone market, the C5 seems to be below expectation.

The phone will run on a S60 3rd edition OS, and have up to 50Mb of memory as well as a MicorSD slot that supports up to 16GB. It will also feature a 2.2 inch screen, 3.2 megapixel camera, and social media integration.

One of the impressive features of the phone is the Ovi maps 3.0 walk and drive GPS, which features location sharing for Facebook. A feature that will undoubtedly be well received, as location sharing is becoming more and more popular in the social landscape. A few of the other impressive features are email services, and instant messaging that feature Google Talk and Windows Live Messenger.

Although the C5 has a few features that will be pleasing to smartphone fans, the phone doesn't really seem to push any new innovation but simply incorporate the already popular ones. The Nokia C5 will come in white and warm grey, and will be available Q2 2010 for around $182.
