Today Microsoft announced 3 new LifeCams, which will not only have 720p resolution but will also feature new TrueColor Technology. TrueColor technology automatically adjusts picture quality to the appropriate lighting no matter what your setting.

"Our engineers at Microsoft Hardware created TrueColor Technology to improve the video experience, combining software and firmware to help people look bright and natural in virtually any lighting situation."

The three cams are the LifeCam HD-5000, LifeCam HD-5001 and LifeCam HD-6000. You can expect the HD-5000, and the HD-5001 later this month for an estimated price of $49.95. The HD-6000 model is set for a May release at an estimated price of $59.95.
