Facebook has announced their new homepage, and along with it a new way of viewing your real time updates. Your homepage feed has now been split into two categories. One is the live feed which is all of your friends updates, and the other is the news feed which is basically the popular posts of the day.

You are able to switch between the two feeds at anytime, as well as edit them to your liking. The news feed will incorporate stories that Facebook thinks you will like based on your activity. It also includes updates for when your friends get tagged in photos or become a fan of pages.

The new changes to the homepage will be available to all users before the end of the day. Let us know what you think of the new Facebook feed. Does it hit the mark for news updates, or does it need work? Do you prefer the old feed?
