The past few weeks have not been pleasant for Microsoft. Not only has the company had to patch a security hole in IE that seriously comprised Google (and a number of other sites) but it is being reported that there are already a number of new security flaws cropping up in the browser.

IE Discovered by Boston based Core Security Technologies, the security flaws they have outlined pose a serious threat to IE users. The set of vulnerabilities are harmless on their own but linked together they can be exploited to gain control of a Windows PC.

A Microsoft representative told Ars Technica "Microsoft is investigating a responsibly disclosed vulnerability in Internet Explorer. We're currently unaware of any attacks trying to use the vulnerability or of customer impact, and believe customers are at reduced risk due to responsible disclosure."
