Augmented reality shows building's Tweets

As you may already know, we are big fans of augmented reality here at Wirejacked. A technology still very much in its infancy, augmented reality has the potential to change the way we see the world. Today we learned that it can also change the way we see Tweets.

N Building from Alexander Reeder on Vimeo.

In the video above you are looking at a building covered in QR codes. Your phone is able to read said QR codes and then convert them into relevant data, or in this case Tweets. Through this process your phone is able to view the Tweets of the building's total inhabitants in real time.

This is only the beginning of what augmented reality can do. Any mobile device that can read QR code is able to get various information from a building. Eventually we will have the ability to view any and all relevant data from building entirely from our mobile phones.
