Universal to adapt Asteroids to Film

Despite the fact that "Asteroids" has been an extinct franchise for near 3 decades now, that isn't stopping Universal from adapting it to film. In a 4 studio bidding match, Universal won the rights to adapt the classic Atari game, and has assigned Matthew Lopez to write a script and Lorenzo di Boneventura to produce.

Yesterday we saw the loss of a cultural icon and its effect on the Internet community. Twitter was flooded yesterday by tweets about Michael Jackson being rushed to a LA hospital, where he died of cardiac arrest. Once the news was confirmed twitter got slammed with Tweets expressing grief, prayers, and memorable moments of the fallen "King of Pop."

Watchmen Returning to Theaters with Director's cut

If you were one of the individuals not satisfied with Watchmen and its piddly little 162 minute run time, then we have good news for you! A Zack Snyder's director's cut of Watchmen will be returning to theaters in select cities. It will have an added 25 minutes of length and will appear in LA, Dallas, Minneapolis, and New York.

BioWare merges with Mythic

As the economy continues to struggle we see more and more video game companies merging. The latest in the list is EA's Mythic(Warhammer), and BioWare(Mass Effect, Start Wars: The Old republic). The decision came from EA, who wanted to restructure their MMORPG development division.
