Despite the fact that "Asteroids" has been an extinct franchise for near 3 decades now, that isn't stopping Universal from adapting it to film. In a 4 studio bidding match, Universal won the rights to adapt the classic Atari game, and has assigned Matthew Lopez to write a script and Lorenzo di Boneventura to produce.

A Zack Snyder's director's cut of Watchmen will be returning to theaters in select cities. It will have an added 25 minutes of length and will appear in LA, Dallas, Minneapolis, and New York.
